Description: This class provides hands-on training and certification in both pro-press and Megapress systems. Participants will learn the proper methods for prepping, assembling, and installing press fittings in accordance with manufacturing standards. The class emphasizes safe and efficient installation techniques, joint integrity testing, and best practices for ensuing long-lasting, leak free connections. Upon successful completion, attendees will earn a press certification from Viega.
Objectives: Upon completion of this class, students will:
- Be certified in MegaPress installation
- Properly install a Megapress joint assembly
- Practice safe installation techniques for mega press joints

Registration closes: Thursday, May 14, 2026, or upon reaching max class size of 10. Attendance Policy: You are required to attend each course in its entirety. You will receive your certificate and credit upon successful completion of the course. No-Show/Cancellations Policy: Please be aware that cancellations made less than two days before the class begins, or failure to attend, will result in a $50.00 fee. Failure to comply will result in being removed from class, and forfeiture of your class deposit. |
ARPEC’s training, funded via the labor contract’s hourly contribution, requires no registration fee or deposit. However, if you cancel within two days before the start of the class, or do not attend the class in full, you will be charged $50.00. If that occurs, that invoice must be paid in full before you can register for future classes. As an employee benefit trust, ARPEC is legally required to be a good steward of the trust's assets.
